Project Engineer/Geologist/Scientist for investigation and remediation assignments which include project scoping, costing, and implementation for Site Investigations, Remedial Investigations, Feasibility Studies, Oversight or Corrective Actions. Field activities may require working independently on smaller projects or as a team player on larger projects. Typical assignments may include observation or management of field activities including drilling, soil excavation/removal UST removal & closure, remediation system pilot testing and system installation, and operation, maintenance and monitoring of remediation systems. Responsibilities in this position include conducting analyses to develop design options or recommendations; application of standard and non-standard techniques for data collection; assisting in the preparation of service deliverable documents; and assisting project management and proposal development. This Position is a mix of field and office assignments with project management responsibilities, potentially leading to a Project management position. Bachelors degree in Engineering, Geology or a related science. 7+ years of experience. Prior experience with field work and different environmental remedial technologies. Experience with groundwater and soil sampling procedures and analysis. Experience with management of field projects including project teams and subcontractors is required. Proficiency with MS Office programs. Strong writing skills are a must. Excellent oral and written communication skills and working in a team environment. Current HAZWOPER 40 hour certification is required.
