Responsibilities:
:The role of consultant will be to lead or be a senior team member of a Business Intelligence project from the initial design and discovery phase through the project implementation and support. Typically, the Principal Consultant works as a consulting team member or an individual technical consultant in the development of technical or business solutions within the consulting practice area. A candidate would be expected to work under moderate supervision, on projects of average difficulty, usually involving single products or single platforms and multiple BI tools. In addition, the consultant would need to be able to analyze customer business goals, objectives, needs, and existing infrastructure and applies principles, concepts and techniques of skills in developing solutions and strategies as they relate to Business Intelligence. Strong interpersonal and technical skills are required by the candidate in order to successfully deliver a BI project. The candidate would be expected to interact with company and client managers and identify additional solutions in client organization. In addition, a principal consultant should be able to serve as a pre-sales support BI specialist through the development of materials when needed in support of more senior consultants. Performance is typically measured by deliverables and/or solutions within budgeted hours.
