Skyline Retirement Community has an immediate opening for a Full-time Custodian.   The Custodian maintains the floors throughout the facility to include tile, carpet, and other flooring and related surfaces in accordance with federal, state and local standards, guidelines and facility policies.  Additionally, the custodian organizes, stocks and delivers supplies throughout the facility as directed.

   Specific Job Duties:

1. Knowledgeable and oriented to facility, floor care workers role, responsibilities and policies.
2. Maintains floor surfaces throughout the facility.
3. Organizes, stocks, maintains and delivers supplies throughout the facility.
4. Maintains cleanliness of equipment.  Maintains utility and supply rooms.
5. Performs other housekeeping related work duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper/Administration.
6. Attends and participates in required meetings.
7. Performs duties safely, uses personal protective equipment where needed, practices universal precautions.
8. Interacts and works effectively with co-workers and other departments.
9. Other duties as assigned.

 JOB KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

 High School diploma or equivalent.  Prefer long-term care experience.
